Johnson String Instrument will visit the Winchester Community Music School to provide instruments for players enrolled in the Winchester Public School string program and the Winchester Community Music School.

Community Music School rentals: Friday, September 5, 6:30-8:30PM
Winchester Public School rentals: Tuesday, September 9, 6:30-8:30PM

WHEN YOU REGISTER, PLEASE INDICATE IN THE NOTES WHETHER YOU ARE PICKING UP YOUR INSTRUMENT ON 9/5 (WCMS) or 9/9 (PUBLIC SCHOOL).

New renters: Registration is recommended. Registration ensures that your instrument is reserved until 8:30PM. If you are unable to register in advance, you can complete a rental contract at the delivery while your child is fitted with an instrument. Community music school registration ends September 4, and Public school registration ends September 8.

Existing and returning renters: Some extra instruments and accessories are available at the delivery, but we recommend registration if you need a new instrument or to order specific items.

Public School books: Essential Elements 2000 book 1 for grades 3&4, A Uni-Tunes book for grades 4&5, and an Essential Elements 2000 Book 2 for Grades 5&6.

Public School accessories: JSI music stand for grade 5, and a CA-30 electronic tuner with optional tuner clip for grades 5&6. All violinists and violists in all grades need shoulder rest foam or a brand-name substitute. Cellists need a Xeros endpin anchor and bass players will need a rock stop.

WCMS students: Consult your instructor regarding any required books or accessories.
