Dear MV Parent,

Johnson String Instrument will deliver rental violins, violas, cellos and basses to the Edgartown Elementary School instrument room on Tuesday, October 14th 2:30 – 5:30 PM

*MV renters: If you have a PO box, please also include your street address when registering.

Advance registration is the only way to ensure that an instrument will be reserved for your child until 5:30 PM. Advance registration must be received by Friday, October 10th. If you are unable to register in advance, you can complete a rental contract at the school while your child is sized for an instrument.

Basses are available in limited quantities, so pre-registration is required for basses. Call 800-359-9351 by Friday, October 10th to reserve a bass for delivery.

All players need a Suzuki music book and CD
Returning players halfway through Suzuki book 1 will need Suzuki book 2 and CD
Players grade 3 and above also need an Essential Elements book with optional CD
Cellists and bass players will need a rock stop
Violinists and violists need either a foam shoulder rest or Wolf shoulder rest.
Music stands and other accessories will also be available.
Please place an order if you need items other than those listed above.

Please note: We require a credit card number as a security deposit on the rental contract. However, you are welcome to pay the rental fee by cash, check or credit card. Rates include insurance. Renewals can be done through the mail. Yearly rates are less expensive and if you return early, you will be charged only for the time used. Rental equity program: A portion of rental fees paid may be used toward the purchase of an instrument. 100% of your first year's rent can be applied toward the purchase of your rental instrument or any instrument from our Rental or Sales Departments. After the first year, customers are allowed to use an additional 20% of their rental fees towards the purchase of any instrument from Johnson's Rental or Sales Departments.
