Johnson String Instrument will deliver rental instruments to students enrolled in the Simsbury Public School string program on Friday, September 19th at Simsbury High School.
Registration: To reserve an instrument, you must register before September 19th. Instruments will be delivered to the Jazz Ensemble room in the early afternoon and can be picked up at dismissal. Online registration is currently not available for bass delivery. For bass registration, please call 800-359-9351.
Please note: We require a credit card number as a security deposit on the rental contract. Rates include insurance. Renewals can be done online, through the mail or by telephone. Yearly rates are less expensive and if you return early, you will be charged only for the time used. Rental equity program: A portion of rental fees paid may be used toward the purchase of an instrument.
Accessories: Students in the fourth grade will need to purchase the Essential Elements book 1. Students in grade 5 and above will need a Suzuki book 1. Violinists and violists should purchase a shoulder rest foam, and cellists will need a Xeros endpin anchor. A CA-30 electronic tuner is optional, but recommended by your teacher.
