NELLIE ROBINSON of Newton,Massachusetts, is only 13, but she has been playing viola for over five years, most recently under the guidance of her teacher Rebecca Strauss. Not only is this eighth grader a talented musician, she is also an artist with great promise. For the last two years, she has focused on painting portraits and still lifes, in addition to paintings of instruments.
